HHC Gummies 101

.entry-title{text-align:center !important}

Once upon a time, there was only one kind of cannabis product most of us knew about: delta-9, better known as the dominant compound in marijuana.

Then, 2018 happened, and CBD products took the market by storm; meanwhile, the Farm Bill cemented hemp as a federally legal substance, and with it, its products such as CBD.

For a time, the market consisted of marijuana and its non-intoxicating, federally legal alternative, CBD–that was it.

And then there was delta-8, and even delta-10.

Surely that’s the extent of our options, in cannabis, right? How could things possibly innovate more?

Then, there was HHC.

Hydroxyhexahydrocannabinol, or HHC for short, is still an incredibly new cannabinoid on the market, but there are already some sellers adding products to their shelves.

And no surprise: HHC gummies are especially popular.

If this is the first time you’ve ever heard of HHC gummies, or even just HHC, you’re not alone!

Here’s what you need to know about HHC gummies for now.

What-is-HHC?

While it’s been widely theorized that HHC is found naturally occurring in trace amounts in cannabis this has still not been substantiated by peer-reviewed research.

So what is HHC, then, and how is it made?

HHC, or hexahydracannabinol, is a cannabinoid that was discovered by chemist Roger Adams in 1944, after he ran delta-9 THC through a process known as hydrogenation.

Currently, any HHC on the market is sourced through THC conversion or some other synthetic process, typically one known as hydrogenation.

Hydrogenation involves adding additional hydrogen atoms to a substance in a lab. Hydrogenated goods are something that many of us encounter on a daily basis, especially if you have a tub of margarine in your fridge; that margarine was actually made and stabilized through hydrogenation.

While hydrogenated products are hardly anything new, it’s still important to remember that this process  is nonetheless serious chemistry, and can be dangerous to those who aren’t qualified, or those who lack the necessary equipment.

This is due, in part, to the fact that catalysts are considered “pyrophoric,” which means they readily ignite in certain conditions, thus creating a potential fire hazard.

When making HHC, you typically start with a clean, purified cannabinoid like THC and put it into a reducing environment, which leads to that hydrogenation in the presence of an appropriate solvent and a metal catalyst to improve the efficiency of the reaction.

To better understand hydrogenation, let’s break down the meaning of “delta” in delta-8, “tetra” in tetrahydrocannabinol, and “hexa” in hexahydrocannabinol.

With delta-8 and delta-9 THC, the chemical difference is where the double bond is located on the chain of carbon atoms. So, the “delta” in delta-8 simply refers to the position of where that double bond is located. “Tetra,” however, is the prefix within THC that actually refers to four hydrogens that are partially saturating a ring in the molecule.

When Adams created his first example of synthetic HHC in the 1940s, he did so with delta-9 THC that was sourced from marijuana. These days, however, the HHC is typically derived through a process that begins with industrial hemp, which is naturally low in THC.

Does HHC Get You High?

Even if something might be a little enjoyable, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s intoxicating; take CBD, for example. CBD is, indeed, a non-psychoactive, non-intoxicating substance that users can expect to enjoy while keeping a clear head.

But the question remains: does HHC get you high?

In short, yes–although the high might not be what you’re expecting. Specifically, those experienced with marijuana (in other words, delta-9 THC) might find that they experience a high that’s similar in quality, but not necessarily in intensity.

And while the exact potency difference is still up for debate, most researchers estimate that HHC is either equal to or stronger than delta-8 THC, or about 70-80% as potent as delta-9.

As for the high itself and what it feels like, users typically describe it as euphoric and incredibly relaxing, but not necessarily sedating. In fact, fans of HHC have been quick to mention the boost in mood they experience when trying HHC gummies, which tends to kick in gradually, while allowing users to stay in control of their faculties.

How is HHC Different from THC?

So let’s talk about what sets HHC apart from THC, whether it’s delta-8, delta-9 or delta-10.

As you might have already noticed in discourse surrounding HHC, this fascinating compound bears particular resemblance to delta-8 and delta-9 THC, both in terms of effects and side effects. And while it’s true that this can occur with any of these three cannabinoids,  it’s worth mentioning that delta-9 has the strongest reputation for creating adverse reactions, such as anxiety, dry mouth, insomnia, paranoia, and red, glazed-over eyes.

It’s also worth noting that higher doses are typically associated with a higher potential to experience side effects, although delta-9 is the most potent.

And while they share a similar chemical structure, the experience offered by each cannabinoid is unique. HHC has been growing in popularity particularly among academics, intellectuals, creatives, and self-starters, while compounds like delta-8 are generally more beloved for relaxing, leisurely activities.

Perhaps the most important distinction between delta-9 THC and derivatives such as HHC lies in the legal status of products.

HHC and delta 8 THC can be legally sold in 38 states, while that’s the case for delta-9 in only 16 states.

For folks who prefer the effects of marijuana, but live in a state where it’s prohibited, they may have the option to shop for HHC or delta 8 THC instead. That being said, it’s imperative that customers stay in the know about the legal status of HHC in their state before purchasing HHC gummies, or any other kind of cannabinoid product.

What Are HHC Gummies?

If you’re looking for a kind of intoxication that’s mild, but still a bit stronger than delta-8, all wrapped up in a tasty chewy treat, look no further than HHC gummies.

Of course, gummies are nothing new when it comes to cannabis products, but they aren’t a crowd favorite for nothing. Fruity, chewy, and delicious, HHC gummies don’t just make your HHC dosage easier, they make it more fun, too.

HHC gummies are growing in popularity for a number of reasons, one of them being the fact that they tend to stay in the body longer than other products. Another reason is that they’re exceptionally discreet, and can be enjoyed just about anywhere.

Here are some more reasons to enjoy HHC gummies.

Benefits of HHC Gummies

May reduce inflammation

When it comes to general wellness, inflammation is a major point of discussion. And as it turns out, HHC may offer benefits in this regard, by acting as an anti-inflammatory agent.

This is theorized largely because marijuana has been shown to offer relief from inflammation, as shown in studies such as this one. What’s more, though, is that THC is not the only cannabinoid that’s been studied showing these benefits. In one 2009 study, it was observed that cannabinoids influence the inflammatory response by interacting with the CB1 and CB2 receptors.

Boost Your Unwind Time

For many people, cannabis is becoming a staple in their self-care routine, and many more are considering making the addition, whether it’s for sleep, or simply unwinding at the end of the day.

Because of the influence it appears to have on CB1 receptors in the body, HHC has been defined as a psychoactive substance, meaning it can trigger a feeling of intoxication and rush of euphoria, known as a “high.”

And unlike delta-9 THC, HHC has gained a strong reputation for facilitating a sense of relaxation and calm, rather than a stimulating experience. With a more tranquil, clear-headed quality compared to delta-9, HHC is quickly becoming a favorite for relaxation, without passing out on the couch.

May Help With Anxiety

While the exact mechanisms of HHC have still not been fully understood, it’s been theorized that it interacts with our bodies through CB1 receptors in the brain. And through this interaction, it’s believed that this has an influence on serotonin in the brain.

Interestingly, this may indicate that HHC can have an impact on those who experience anxiety disorders, which are heavily associated with serotonin imbalances in the brain.

Pre-Dosed Servings

No matter what kind of HHC product you use, the dosage will have a massive impact on its performance.

There’s a wide variety of different HHC products available, and each one of them needs to be dosed in a different way. But with HHC gummies, everything is already pre-dosed. On top of that, you’ll find that HHC gummies come in consistent shapes and sizes, so you can explore

Ease of Use

Similar to how all HHC products must be dosed differently, it can often feel like each and every product requires an additional item, whether it’s a dropper for oils, a rig for dabbing, carts for vapes, even HHC capsules need a glass of water.

But HHC gummies, the gummies themselves are all you need–the only work needed is to enjoy them!

There’s no need for prep or guesswork, and measuring is as simple as counting out 1-2 gummies.

Great Taste

Hemp has a fairly unique flavor and aroma–nutty and a bit earthy, and some might even describe it as bitter. While some folks quite enjoy the taste, it isn’t for everyone.

With their candy-like flavor and bouncy, chewy texture,HHC gummies simply taste like a sweet treat, creating the perfect alternative for those who prefer something a bit more to their palate.

A Smoke-Free High

Whether it’s a joint or a blunt, smokable THC has garnered a reputation for its fast-acting effects. But with that in mind, smokables aren’t the best-suited for those with a sensitivity to smoke. As a smoke-free way to enjoy the high of THC, delta-10 gummies are especially appealing to those looking to avoid smoke.

Are HHC Gummies Safe?

Not unlike the other cannabinoids that have made their way to the market, the evidence is limited, including when it comes to the safety and side effects of HHC. Consequently, much of the safety information at hand is based on anecdotal evidence.

At this point, preliminary trials have shown HHC to possess a profile similar to THC’s risk and safety, with comparable side effects reported from users who took high doses of THC.

Taking too much HHC may result in adverse reactions such as:

  • anxiety
  • dry mouth
  • paranoia
  • elevated heart rate
  • dry eyes

Are HHC Gummies Legal?

Not unlike its predecessor delta-8 THC, HHC possesses a legal status that’s not completely clear. Since HHC is ultimately sourced from hemp, many companies argue that HHC gummies are legal through a similar loophole to delta-8.

However, there are also lawmakers arguing that HHC isn’t naturally occurring in hemp. And according to a statement from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), it was said that “all synthetically derived tetrahydrocannabinols remain Schedule I controlled substances.”

The basis of this argument is that HHC’s legality is mainly centered around whether it’s a natural or synthetic compound.

If HHC is classified as a naturally-derived substance, then it’s legal as long as it’s hemp-derived, and its THC percentage is less than 0.3% delta-9 THC. If HHC is defined as synthroid, then it will be ruled as federally legal until the government decriminalizes or legalizes cannabis on the national level.

That being said,  it’s impossible to say it’s 100% legal or illegal until a court offers an opinion on HHC’s legal status. Therefore, use this product at your own responsibility.

How Long Do HHC Gummies Take to Kick in?

Above all else, it’s important to note that the time it takes for HHC to hit the bloodstream is going to have some variation, depending on the individual and their body chemistry, metabolism, and the type of HHC product consumed.

As a general rule of thumb, though, HHC gummies will take around an hour to kick in.

With that being said, customers are strongly advised to proceed with caution when trying any kind of cannabinoid product for the first time, and this includes HHC gummies.

Not unlike  THC gummies, it’s still crucial that while the gummies are still metabolizing in your body, you may feel tempted to pop a couple more. This is why we encourage users to wait at least another 2-3 hours before taking more HHC gummies.

How Long Do HHC Gummies Last?

With HHC gummies, users should expect to feel the effects of edibles from anywhere between 2-6 hours, depending on dosage, tolerance, body weight, and other factors.

How Many HHC Gummies Should I Take?

Like any cannabis product, the optimal dosage for HHC gummies will vary with each individual based on a number of different factors including body chemistry, tolerance levels, weight, and metabolism.

Of course, those new to HHC as a whole won’t know their tolerance level until they try it, but users tend to describe it as somewhere between the relaxing high of delta-8 and delta-9 THC.

That being said, the best way to determine your HHC dosage follows the classic wisdom of cannabis: start low, and slowly work your way up.

Now again, everyone’s optimum dosage varies, which also means that your version of a “low dose” might be different from that of your spouse or neighbor. But generally, a lower dose constitutes 10-20 mg, while a medium dose is, for many users, 20-50 mg, with a high dose of 50-100 mg.

What to Look for When Shopping for HHC Gummies

noticeables dirth of HHC gummy retailers with a solid reputation, though more companies are beginning to catch wind.

As with any cannabinoid product, customers are advised to do their due diligence when shopping online for HHC gummies.

But if you’re not entirely sure what a reputable HHC gummies brand looks like, here are some factors to keep an eye out for.

Ingredient Quality

When shopping for HHC and other types of cannabinoid products, one of the key factors to note is the quality of ingredients in their products. HHC gummies made by reputable sellers should be made with quality, reliable ingredients, and won’t contain any weird chemicals or heavy metals that might pose health risks to your body.

Pricing

As you might have already noticed with CBD and THC products, the good stuff is usually on the pricier side. While there are some companies in the industry who strive to make their products as affordable as possible, be wary of the brands that make their HHC gummies suspiciously cheap.

Return Policies

Sometimes, we get a little swept away by the bells and whistles of HHC gummies, especially with details like flavor and color, which are enough to bring out anyone’s inner child.

When we get caught up in these details, it’s easy to forget to check the company’s return policy until it’s necessary–at which point, it may be too late.

When you make sure to check a brand’s return policies before shopping, there’s a better chance of understanding the value these sellers place on their sense of quality, as well as their customers’ satisfaction.

Customer Service

Similar to return policies, great customer service reps can make a huge difference in your overall experience when shopping for HHC gummies.

Brand Reviews

Easily one of the top ways to become acquainted with HHC gummies is by checking out reviews from other customers–not only on their site, but on external forums and review sites, as well. Honest customer reviews can tell you a great deal about HHC gummy sellers–even the information brands might not be marketing. These reviews can inform fellow customers what went wrong in their experience, as well as the positive features that might make the company stand out.

Shopping for HHC Gummies Online

When shopping online for HHC gummies, you have a stronger chance of finding quality products from reputable sellers, all without having to travel to find it. Because HHC is still quite new to the cannabis industry, it’s generally more likely for users to find more established brands online, which normally offer a wide selection of additional cannabis products, as well, such as CBD and delta-8. And if you’re not a fan of the brand’s selection? Simply shop around and check out another website! In short, online shopping makes it much easier for comparing brands and the products they sell.

Delta-10 Gummies 101

.entry-title{text-align:center !important}

As the prime compound in all marijuana strains, delta-9 THC is a cannabinoid many of us know and love, and have, in fact, done so for thousands of years.

Then, we were met with the rise of CBD which, at the time, we understood to be the cannabis compound that doesn’t make you high.

Seems simple, right?

Then, the mix was shaken up by the introduction of delta-8 THC, a compound that does get you high like weed, but less intense.

And now, we’re in the age of delta-10, a cannabinoid that’s here to lift up the soul and boost the mind, while providing a mellow high that’s less intense than delta-9.

But what is delta-10? And in an industry, that’s teeming with new things every day, why should we care about delta-10 gummies?

Here’s what you need to know, but first, let’s talk about what, exactly, delta-10 is.

What is Delta-10?

To put it simply, delta-10 THC is a type of cannabinoid, which is a type of compound often found in cannabis. Cannabis has over 100 different cannabinoids, but in recent years, most attention has been directed to THC and CBD.

As a form of THC, delta-10 is known to create a psychoactive high, which is triggered when ingested.

Delta-10 typically is typically found in tiny trace amounts, which are too few to be safely extracted from cannabis plant matter. Instead, manufacturers have taken on the process of converting delta-10 instead.

Does Delta-10 Get You High?

To kick things off, let’s address the big question.

Yes, delta-10 gets users high. But unlike delta-9 THC, the cannabinoid isomer we know from marijuana, delta-10 offers a sense of intoxication that is actually quite mild. In fact, delta-10 is considered by many to be the “sweet spot” between classic cannabis and CBD gummies–a dynamic duo that’s often available in weed-banned states.

Delta-10 offers the same potential benefits you’ll find in delta-9 and CBD, while supplying a bit of a middle ground in terms of the intoxicating effect. Generally speaking, users can expect to feel a rush of physical euphoria, a boost of mental clarity, and bolstered focus.

How Does Delta-10 Make You Feel?

While it’s true that delta-10 is not as potent as your typical marijuana or delta-9 gummies, it’s still worth repeating that yes, delta-10 can make users high.

According to the anecdotal reports of users, delta-10 appears to have a tendency for leaving users feeling energized and uplifted. This “boost” delta-10 is known for presents an interesting contrast especially to delta-8, which is more known for relaxing and sedating.

For those with experience dabbling in cannabis, it’s not uncommon for users to compare delta-10 to sativa-dominant strains, while delta-8, on the other hand, is often compared to indicas.

In other words, the high created by delta-8 and delta-10 are two very different kinds of vibe, but the common generalization among users is that delta-8 is popular for bedtime, while delta-10 is more beloved for creative projects, where a creative, flowy mind is needed.

With that being said, let’s dive more into the differences between delta-10 and its sibling cannabinoids.

Delta-8 vs Delta-10

At this point, an extensive number of cannabis lovers and former lovers alike have caught on to the benefits of delta-8 THC. Commonly, it’s seen used as a diluted version of marijuana, which can create a high that’s notably less intense than the “real” thing. In fact, many sources have suggested that delta-8 is about half as potent as delta-9.

So where, then, does delta-10 THC fall?

While much is still unknown about delta-10 THC as a whole, it’s been suggested by some that delta-10 concentrate falls closer to delta-8 on the scale, in terms of the euphoria and side effects. In other words, the intoxication it causes is more subdued than recreational cannabis. However, there are still differences between the two compounds.

In one 1988 study, a research team led by Raphael Mechoulam tested the effects of delta-10 on pigeons, finding that subjects experienced some minor intoxication using it, particularly compared to the more potent delta-9.

So which one is stronger, delta-8 or delta-10?

At this point in time, much research still needs to be done on cannabis and its effects. That being said, it’s worth noting that most individuals using both delta-8 and delta-10 will use the same dosage, and most users report them to offer a similar level of intoxication. However, it’s often mentioned by users that while delta-8 is quite sedating, delta-10 tends to be uplifting and energizing.

Delta-9 vs Delta-10

Generally, delta-9 is best known as marijuana, and while it’s found in cannabis plants along with delta-10, their interactions with the endocannabinoid system have some differences.

This distinction is attributed to the more powerful psychedelic effects we know in delta-9, which can often lead to unwanted side effects like racing heart rates, paranoia, and heightened anxiety. Delta-10, however, impacts different receptors, which tends to result in a mellower high.

Arguably, though, the most important difference between delta-9 and delta-10 is that delta-10 is federally legal, unlike delta-9.

What Are Delta-10 Gummies?

You can think of delta-10 gummies as a tasty treat that packs a major chill-inducing punch. Gummy, fruity, and naturally sweet, delta-10 gummies offer a neat, simple way to enjoy your delta-10 with a childlike twist.

Not only are delta-10 gummies tasty, but they also make it easy to administer, since you don’t have to bother with the fuss of using a dropper or a glass of water. And for those who might find the taste of hemp products unpleasant, delta-10 gummies present a tasty, approachable alternative.

At this point in time, the FDA has yet to establish regulations for the hemp industry, which has led to gross inconsistencies throughout the market. Because of these inconsistencies, consumers are advised to stick with reputable brands in order to shop for delta-10 gummies.

Are Delta-10 Gummies Legal?

At this point in time, delta-10 products are defined as federally legal, and this is because they’re sourced from hemp, as legalized in the US upon Congress’ passing of the 2018 farm bill.

Similar to delta-8 THC, delta-10 has become extremely attractive because it presents an option for consumers who live in states where cannabis is illegal. And while it’s true that delta-10 is generally milder than delta-9, individuals can still get high from it legally.

But again, similar to delta-8, some states have begun taking legal actions to ban delta-10 within their state lines. And as a result, some delta-10 producers won’t deliver their products to certain states if the laws within that state are vague.

With all this in mind, the legal setting for hemp-derived products such as delta-10 gummies is a bit messy and unclear at this point. And in some states, delta-9 is legal for recreational purposes in some states, but only medically legal in others, or even banned altogether.

Likewise, delta-10 and delta-8 are illegal in some states, and this includes some states that do have legal recreational or medical weed.

With that being said, delta-10 is currently outlawed in the following states:

  • Alaska
  • Arizona
  • Arkansas
  • Colorado
  • Delaware
  • Idaho
  • Iowa
  • Mississippi
  • Montana
  • Rhode Island
  • Utah

Where Can I Find Delta-10 Gummies?

As you may have already heard with any other cannabinoid that’s hit the market, it’s crucial that users only purchase their delta-10 gummies from reputable brands, who offer a wide range of products.

Established CBD brands that have built strong reputations have been coming out with delta-10 products as of late, along with delta-8 products, as well. These brands make a great place to shop for delta-10 gummies, because they usually have a standardized system that works for them, and they operate through transparent measures.

The most credible brands will offer a wealth of information on their website that’s relevant to CBD and other cannabis products, as well as make their Certificates of Analysis (COAs) readily available for viewing.

In some cases, you may stumble upon brands that are launching only delta-10. More often than not, such companies may be looking to make a quick buck, so their products may be of lesser quality. When searching delta-10 gummies for sale, always make sure to do your due diligence and look into the reputation of a brand.

Benefits of Delta-10 Gummies

Naturally, customers are often curious about the properties of delta-10 gummies, specifically asking “what are the benefits of delta-10?”

The current boom in the cannabis industry can be largely attributed to innovative discoveries, including not only delta-10, but also delta-8 and HHC, just to name a few.

And even in the most recently discovered isomers of THC, there’s evidence of the same medicinal benefits you’ll find in delta-9 THC.

With delta-10, however, it’s been observed by users that while there is a noticeable euphoric effect, it’s not accompanied by the typical side effects associated with weed, like paranoia and anxiety.

As a result, there are those who enjoy delta-10 gummies as a way to enjoy a little afternoon respite, while staying focused and alert. And while the evidence on these benefits is limited, much of these therapeutic benefits can be linked to THC’s relationship with the endocannabinoid system.

That being said, such benefits include appetite stimulation, relief from pain and discomfort, increased energy levels, stress and anxiety relief, and more.

Now while these are potential benefits behind delta-10, here are some benefits behind delta-10 gummies, specifically:

Pre-Dosed Servings

As with any cannabinoid, dosage is a common topic, which comes up often.

And while we’ll go more into the question “how many delta-10 gummies should I take?” Toward the end of the article, it’s worth noting now that delta-10 gummies are exceptionally easy to dose.

Typically, delta-10 gummies are predosed and consistent in size and shape, allowing customers to better gauge the amount that works for them, but with less guesswork.

Ease of Use

With delta-10 oils and capsules, there’s always something required with it, whether it’s careful measurement with a dropper, or grabbing a glass of water. And while these little things aren’t necessarily difficult to do, there are days where that extra work feels like a lot.

With delta-10 gummies, however, the only thing required is the gummies themselves. There’s no need for prep or guesswork, and measuring is as simple as counting out 1-2 gummies. Plus, no one around you will think you’re even taking THC!

Great Taste

Hemp has a pretty distinct flavor and aroma–nutty, warm, a bit earthy. While some folks quite enjoy the taste, it isn’t for everyone. This is why customers have been offering CBD and delta-8 as flavored products, such as gummies.

With their candy-like flavor and bouncy, chewy texture, delta-10 gummies simply taste like a sweet treat, creating the perfect alternative for those who prefer something a bit more to their palate.

A Smoke-Free High

Smokable THC, whether it’s a joint or a blunt, has a reputation for its fast-acting effects. However, smokables aren’t the best-suited for those with a sensitivity to smoke. As a smoke-free way to enjoy the high of THC, delta-10 gummies are especially appealing to those looking to avoid smoke.

How Long Do Delta-10 Gummies Last?

Every single person is unique, and this applies just as much to our personal body chemistry.

So depending on the way it’s consumed, the time it takes for delta-10 to kick in will vary considerably. As for delta-10 edibles and gummies, the time it takes to kick in can be anywhere from thirty minutes to two hours.

It’s important to note here that delta-10 gummies kick in at different times for a number of different factors, but much of this will come down to metabolic rate and digestive function. Other factors may include gender, cannabis tolerance, weight, and eating habits.

And while you might be thinking that delta-10 gummies take a while to kick in, note that they also tend to affect the body for longer, compared to other delta-10 products. In fact, the average delta-10 edible high tends to last around 5-6 hours. It’s also worth noting that delta-10 will stay in your body for several days after, even if you won’t necessarily feel the high at that point anymore.

How Strong Are Delta-10 Gummies?

Delta-10 gummies are known to possess a wide variety of different effects, depending on the user’s experience with cannabis products.

For someone with little experience with THC, high doses of delta-10 gummies can be pretty intense. Conversely, low doses of delta-10 gummies will have minimal effects on users.

Ultimately, the key is to pinpoint the right dose for you, even if it means starting out slow.

Can Delta-10 Cause Seizures?

There’s particularly been some controversy with THC in the realm of seizures; while the CBD pharmaceutical Epidiolex has been approved by the FDA as an anti-seizure medication, THC has raised concerns for causing seizures. For instance, one study observed that marijuana may ease seizures, but it may also worsen the aftereffects by causing oxygen deprivation in the brain.

However, such studies have mainly focused on delta-9 THC, and so it’s unclear whether delta-10 will have similar effects. Additionally, there are conflicting studies suggesting that cannabis may actually help with seizures, with a handful of trials that have been conducted since around 1970.

However, there have been a handful of studies conducted in the U.S. since 1970. Other studies, even some ongoing, have been done around the world, and otherwise, no cases of seizures induced by delta-10 have been reported.

Can Delta-10 Give You Anxiety?

Delta-10 THC has garnered a bit of a reputation for encouraging relaxation, and isn’t as known for creating the same anxiety or paranoia as its THC sibling delta-9, making it an excellent choice for calming down anxiety without increasing drowsiness.

But can delta-10 cause anxiety?

As with other types of THC, delta-10 has the potential to trigger side effects of anxiety, although this appears to be less prevalent with delta-8 and delta-10.

Still, delta-10 THC can produce that euphoric rush we know from THC, though it’s far less sedative or potent than your typical delta-9 THC. Still, further research is needed on these isomers, and everybody’s unique ECS and metabolisms produce varying results with use.

It’s also imperative that users stick with high-quality, third-party tested delta-10 THC products. Some companies in the industry will happily sell you low-quality or low-potency delta-10 THC products for a quick cash grab, and since the FDA does not regulate the compound, due diligence on the customer’s part is necessary.

Finally, it’s important to remember that, as with delta-8 THC products, delta-10 THC products are converted from CBD rather than directly sourced from cannabis, and while this is not a definitive cause of harm or concern, it is encouraged to proceed with caution when using synthetic versions of cannabinoids, at least until further research has been done, and its potential adverse effects are fully understood.

Will Delta-10 Make You Fail a Drug Test?

Similar to delta-8 and delta-9, the use of delta-10 may cause you to fail a drug test.

With that in mind, it’s worth noting that drug tests will only determine whether THC metabolites are present in the body, and because these metabolites can occur from the consumption of delta-8, delta-9, or delta-10, any type of THC will cause users to fail a drug test.

How Many Delta-10 Gummies Should I Eat?

As the hottest new cannabinoid to join the industry, delta-10 products are just beginning to hit both the shelves and sites. And if you’re an enthusiast of CBD, delta-8, or marijuana, rest assured that brands are making delta-10 in products you’re familiar with, such as oils, topicals, vapes, and of course, gummies.

Of course, there are many dabblers and vets alike in cannabis who are excited to get their hands on the newest stuff on the market, especially with its reputation for uplifting the mind and honing a sense of focus.

But before you pop a couple of delta-10 gummies, it’s important to note that more so than other cannabinoids, delta-10’s effects will heavily depend on the dosage you’re taking.

And if you’ve already had some experience with, say, CBD, it’s likely that you’re already familiar with the importance of the right milligram strength.

But before we get into the question “how many delta-10 gummies should I eat,” let’s first be clear about dosage and milligram strength, which are two different things: delta-10 defining the amount of product taken, such as “two gummies” or “one capsule.”

Milligram strength, on the other hand, refers to the potency of a dosage, in milligrams. For example, one delta-10 gummy might contain 10mg delta-8 THC. In this case, the dosage is “one gummy,” while the milligram strength is 10 milligrams.

That being said, here’s a general breakdown of delta-10 dosages, based on the individual’s experience:

  1. Beginner Delta 10 THC dosing (low tolerance): 10mg-20mg per use
  2. Intermediate Delta 10 THC dosing (medium tolerance): 20mg-50mg per use
  3. Advanced Delta 10 THC dosing (high tolerance): 50mg-100mg+ per use

Your THC Tolerance

Researchers are still developing an understanding of cannabis and all of its intricacies, and a large part of this is about understanding why some individuals are heavily impacted by low doses, while others might require immense amounts of delta-10 to experience any effects.

However, it’s been established by experts that each individual has a unique endocannabinoid system, and within that system, the number of cannabinoid receptors can vary.

As a result of this variation, it appears that those with more cannabinoid receptors tend to require less delta-10 in order to feel an effect. It’s also worth noting that there appears to be some significant connection between higher dosages, in that those with higher weights will do better with higher doses, and vice-versa.

Delivery Method

The product type, often referred to as a delivery method, also plays a role in the number of delta-10 gummies you should expect to take; whether you’re taking delta-10 oil, delta-10 gummies, or delta-10 capsules, each method of delivery absorbs into the bloodstream differently. And in turn, this means that each type of delta-10 product will kick in at different times and at varying intensities.

Your Comfort Level With THC

As we’ve established at this point, delta-10 THC is an intoxicating substance. And while the high it creates is known to be much more mild than delta-9, while more uplifting than delta-8.

That being said, it’s understandable for new users to feel a bit uncomfortable diving straight into a full dose of delta-10 gummies, so it’s perfectly fine to start out with a dosage even lower than you’ve determined.

Your Lifestyle

Throughout our day-to-day lives, we may need to make adjustments to our delta-10 dosage in order to uphold certain responsibilities. For example, some individuals may have the schedule to enjoy some delta-10 gummies in the evening at home, while it’s not recommended for those who spend much of their day driving.

Check Your Product’s Packaging

Typically, the brand that manufactures whatever delta-10 gummies you shop for will include a recommended dosage chart, which helps users find their ideal dosage of Delta-10 gummies, based on the average amounts shown.

Delta-8 Disposables 101

.entry-title{text-align:center !important}

Maybe you’re taking a break from your usual THC fix, or perhaps you’re completely new to cannabis in general.

Whatever your motivation, there are plenty of reasons to enjoy the high that delta-8 can offer, and there are even more reasons to love delta-8 disposables.

Delta-8 disposables are, in essence, a type of vaping device that’s incredibly fast-acting, and offers a wealth of discretion with their faint, quickly dissipating scent, and exceptionally compact size.

But for first time users, delta-8 disposables can feel a bit daunting when starting out. Fear not, though, because we’re here to let you know that delta-8 disposables are incredibly easy to learn.

Here’s everything a beginner needs to know about delta-8 disposables.

What is Delta-8?

In order to understand what delta-8 is, it helps to first talk about THC.

THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, is a compound you may already know from marijuana. Indeed, THC is generally regarded as the intoxicating compound in weed, but it’s important to know that THC takes a few different forms, which are known as isomers. And in marijuana, the main THC isomer is what’s known as delta-9.

Now, this all might sound a lot like something from high school chemistry, but THC isomers are becoming a major deal in cannabis, and different isomers will define a product–not only in terms of how you feel, but even when it comes to legal status (more on that later).

THC can come in a few different isomers, but on the market, we typically see delta-8, delta-9, delta-10, and even HHC. But today, let’s talk about delta-8.

Like delta-9, delta-8 is an isomer of THC, and the two are often compared with one another. In fact, delta-8 has grown immensely in popularity over the last few years, and in part, this lies in the fact that delta-8 produces a high that’s significantly more mellow than delta-9.

Delta-8 THC is naturally derived from cannabis plants, but compared to delta-9, the amounts tend to be pretty low.

In response to this, experts have developed a method for converting other cannabinoids into delta-8, through a process called isomerization.

Customers can find delta-8 products from a wide range of reputable sellers. And much like with the CBD phenomenon, you can find delta-8 in a number of different products, including gummies, capsules, and the more potent delta-8 vapes.

Delta-8 vapes are straightforward, reliable, and super discreet, but when you’re looking for the ultimate choice in delta-8 vaping that’s streamlined and convenient, look no further than delta-8 disposables.

So without further ado, let’s explore delta-8 disposables.

Anatomy of Delta-8 Disposables

Delta-8 disposables are a type of gadget that uses electricity to convert THC e-liquid or vape oil into an inhalable vapor. Delta-8 disposables are designed for single use, although you can expect to get as many as 250+ puffs from just one.

And as a testament to their convenience of use, disposables are sold as one single gadget–everything you need comes with it, and you simply dispose of the whole thing when you’re finished. No charging or refilling necessary!

But if you’re familiar at all with vapes, you’ll still recognize the standard parts of a vape in a delta-8 disposable:

Delta-8 Disposable Mouthpiece

As you might have gathered from the name, the mouthpiece is the part of the delta-8 disposable that customers are meant to inhale from. Typically, you’ll find delta-8 cartridges to be made from a number of different materials, including plastic, glass, or silicone. And while delta-8 vapes will often allow for customization, this isn’t as much the case for delta-8 disposables, since they’re not meant for long-term use.

Delta-8 Disposable Cartridge

The cartridge is the main chamber in your delta-8 disposable, and its prime purpose is to hold the delta-8 vape oil that’s eventually converted into an inhalable vapor. With refillable delta-8 vapes, the cartridges are typically prefilled, eliminating a ton of potential frustration.

And just when you thought vaping couldn’t get any easier, delta-8 disposables streamline the process even more: true to its status as an affordable, one-and-done type of product, a delta-8 disposable doesn’t need refilling or recharging. Simply throw it out and try a new one!

Delta-8 Disposable Atomizer

The atomizer of a delta-8 can be seen as the generator, functioning to create heat to warm the delta-8 oil or juice into a vapor. Typically, they’re made with a ceramic or steel casing, and feature a cotton wick wrapped up in coils of metal.

When a delta-8 disposable is used, the delta-8 e-liquid or juice soaks into the cotton wick, and the wire coil creates heat, which steadily turns the liquid into a cloud-like vapor.

Delta-8 Disposable Battery

Of course, it’s no secret that delta-8 disposables require power, just like any other delta-8 vaping device. Most often, you’ll find batteries to be lithium-ion, and while your typical vape battery needs charging, this isn’t necessary with disposables.

Does Delta-8 Make You High?

Perhaps above any other question, customers tend to ask: does delta-8 make you high?

In short, yes. But before we get into the thick of this question, it’s important to understand that delta-8’s effects can vary, and every individual will experience it differently. That being said, the effects of delta-8 disposables on those sharing their anecdotal experiences may be drastically different from your own, and this is important to keep in mind when you’re a beginner with vaping delta-8.

But of course, this is also important to consider if you’re new to THC as a whole. If you have any experience with marijuana or delta-9 THC, then there’s already a good chance that you know what to expect with delta-8 disposables. But if you’ve never tried any kind of cannabis product, the high from delta-8 may feel quite intense, since users will have nothing to compare the high with.

All the same, users have a tendency to describe the high from delta-8 THC as “mellow,” and it’s often enough to put users at ease, helping them relax into a total state of calm that leaves them feeling clear-headed and focused.

And while it’s true that they’re relaxed, this state of zen is rarely described as “drowsy.” Rather, users of delta-8 disposables tend to find themselves feeling energized and inspired, ready to take on creative projects and enjoy the company of others.

Users of delta-8 vapes can also expect a significant increase in appetite, although you can rest assured that it’s rarely as powerful as the munchies monster that comes from delta-9 and cannabis. Overall, delta-8 THC is reported to leave individuals to feel uplifted in their mood, positive, and at ease.

It’s also worth mentioning that the high from delta-8 isn’t the only thing that’s mellower than delta-9; the side effects are less intense, as well.

With delta-9 THC, some consumers report experiencing side effects such as paranoia. With delta-8, however, these side effects are far less prevalent. On top of that, the side effects of drowsiness and lethargy are far less common, as well, and instead lend over to a more clear-headed, focused experience.

The biggest difference, however, is that users occasionally report delta-9 THC leaving them feeling manic or “out of control.” But with delta-8, users can enjoy a high that’s elevated and pleasant, while still feeling present and grounded. And no matter how intense the delta-8 disposable might be, there’s a lower likelihood of feeling overwhelmed or turbulent.

When vaping delta-8 disposables, some consumers might notice that they don’t feel tired in the way that they do from delta-9 vapes. In fact, they might instead feel noticeably more energized, and yet more focused without the anxiety or racing heart rate.

Are Delta-8 Disposables Legal?

It’s also still common for consumers to ask whether delta-8 disposables, or any delta-8 products, are legal.

And currently, the legal status of delta-8 is something of a gray area.

At this point in time, there are only a handful of states addressing the legal standing of delta-8. And while all states have their own laws regarding delta-8, the language of these laws almost always pertain to delta-9 THC, cannabis, marijuana, or CBD.

That being said, it’s believed that there are eleven states in which delta-8 is interpreted as illegal, based on that state’s laws.

In one proposed rule, the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has indirectly defined delta-8 THC as a Schedule I substance, which would make it federally illegal. However, this rule has not been finalized.

Typically, delta-8 THC is sourced from not cannabis, but hemp. Because of this, delta-8 is currently available in a number of states where THC is otherwise illegal.

According to the 2018 farm bill, which was passed by Congress, hemp is classified as “All derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent.” To put it simply, this bill makes hemp products legal because they don’t contain delta-9 THC.

Still, there are some states that have opted not to take on the language specified in the farm bill within their own legislature, effectively banning delta-8 from states. As a result, manufacturers and vendors of delta-8 can only sell to states with laws that are in alignment with the language of the farm bill. And even in these cases, some vendors may only conduct business with certain states, depending on the interpretation of the state’s laws.

On top of that, the DEA came out with an Interim Final Rule (IFR) in August 2020, which is a document serving to clarify and confirm the distinctions between hemp and cannabis. In the interim rule, it’s stated that “All synthetically derived tetrahydrocannabinols remain Schedule I controlled substances,” which would make delta-8 illegal because it is a tetrahydrocannabinol that is extracted, or synthetically derived.

This means that regardless of the farm bill’s standing, the language of the law has the potential to fully ban plants with more than 0.3% delta-9 THC, or the new IFR language is adopted, which bans all tetrahydrocannabinols, will determine the fate of delta-8. The DEA’s IFR is open for review until October 2021, and until then, delta-8’s federal legality remains fairly unclear.

Will Delta-8 Show Up on a Drug Test?

Whether it’s delta-8 disposables, delta-8 gummies, or any kind of product containing this THC isomer, people often ask the question:

Will delta-8 show up on a drug test?

And in short, the answer is most likely.

Currently, there’s still a short supply in studies on delta-8, so its behavior in the human body is still not fully understood. However, with its close resemblance to delta-9 THC, it’s safe to assume that any test for delta-9 THC will also show delta-8 THC.

Still, the ways in which delta-8 interacts with your body, its exact distinctions from delta-9, and its exact potency in relation to delta-9 is still not certain.

That being said, those expecting a drug test in their future are encouraged to play it safe and abstain from consuming delta-8 products of any sort.

Benefits of Delta-8 Disposables

Here are just a few reasons why people love using delta-8 disposables.

Immediately Ready to Use

As mentioned before, one of the key benefits to delta-8 disposables is the profound lack of setu required. The minute your delta-8 disposable is removed from its packaging, it’s ready to use–no need to set up the cartridge, no need to charge.

No matter where you are, or the time of day, delta-8 disposables are ready to go, no setup required.

No Cleaning or Maintenance

When you have a delta-8 refillable vape, that means you have to take care of it and regularly work to keep it in good condition. This can take some significant time out of your week, and you must be thorough with the maintenance. If not, you’ll notice the taste change noticeably, to the point that it can even completely ruin your enjoyment.

But with delta-8 disposables, there is no need for cleaning or maintenance of any kind, since you will be throwing it out after it’s empty.

Beginner-Friendly

More often than not, those new to vaping delta-8 tend to start with delta-8 disposables, and for good reason! With delta-8 disposables, everything is already prepared–all that’s needed is you to use the device. This is also a great way to start out vaping without investing a ton of money to see whether vaping delta-8 works for you.

Highly Portable

Delta-8 disposables tend to be smaller than your average vaping device, which offers them a fair amount of portability. In other words, you won’t have to worry about fumbling with them in public. On top of that, these devices are discreet enough that you can even carry them in your pocket.

Lower Costs

On average, delta-8 disposables tend to be cheaper in comparison to other tobacco or cannabis-derived products. And while it’s true that delta-8 vapes might not be the most cost-effective option for those who vape regularly, they make an excellent choice for those who’d like just the occasional delta-8 vaping experience. That being said, it’s worth noting that the cost will also depend on the disposable’s components, features, and overall quality, which may vary with each product.

Lots of Different Options

Delta-8 disposables can also be found in a wide range of options, and there are tons of strains and flavor profiles that users can choose from–many of which are often based on classic strains like Pineapple Express, Rainbow Gelato, and Zkittlez. With more options made readily available every day, there’s bound to be something you’ll enjoy.

How to Use Delta-8 Disposables

As you’ll quickly discover with delta-8 disposables, they are remarkably easy to use. Whether you purchase one in-person, or order it online, it comes home ready to go–no need for assembling the vape’s components together, no need to thumb through an instruction manual or fumble with changing out the cartridges. In fact, you don’t even need to charge your delta-8 disposable, as they typically come pre-charged.

Once your delta-8 disposable is taken out of the box, it’s ready for you to enjoy. To do so, place the mouthpiece into your mouth, and push the button to power on. You should then see the button light up, indicating that you’re good to go with your delta-8 disposable. Then, inhale the vapor into your lungs as you hold down the button, and release to exhale.

For those who don’t have much prior experience with vaping THC, we recommend starting out with small hits. If you’re not used to it, taking too much delta-8 vapor can be quite overwhelming.

Once the vape pen is empty, simply throw it out and start looking for your next flavor to try!

How Long Do Delta-8 Disposables Last?

Perhaps above all else, delta-8 disposables are a quick, streamlined way to incorporate delta-8 into your day-to-day life. And best of all, the extra compact size of disposables means extra discretion, so you can keep them on hand for any moment in which you might need a little boost in spirits, or some assistance winding down.

When shopping for delta-8 disposables, it helps to know that a good battery plays a major role in high-performance vaping.

So how long do delta-8 disposables last?

Typically, you can expect a delta-8 disposable to give you around 250-300 puffs per day, although this ultimately depends on a wide range of factors, including the degree of one’s average puff, and how often you’re reaching for it.

Delta-8 Disposables vs. Delta-8 Cartridges

When shopping for delta-8 vapes, customers are already faced with a number of different questions, especially when it comes to matters like dosage, frequency, the best strain, and so much more.

But on top of that, those shopping for delta-8 vapes are often left scratching their skulls when it comes down to disposables vs. refillable vapes.

So which one is right for you?

Ultimately, the best choice will depend on your own unique preferences, as well as how often you plan to vape delta-8.

For starters, those new to delta-8 may wish to keep their budget on the lower side as they explore their options. And in cases such as these, a delta-8 disposable is an especially attractive choice.

But for the folks who have been experimenting with delta-8 vapes for a while, they may find themselves growing tired of replacing their entire vape every time they run out of juice. On top of that, such individuals likely have an idea as to what works best for them, so they now have the headspace to play around and modify their mouthpiece, atomizer, and battery.

In cases such as these, delta-8 vapes provide a wonderful option for both long-time use and flexibility. But no matter what type of vape you end up going with, you can expect a high that’s easygoing and packed with euphoria.

Delta-8 Cartridges 101

.entry-title{text-align:center !important}

Delta-8 is a compound derived from cannabis that’s grown in popularity, largely because its effects resemble that of delta-9.

And if you’re not familiar, delta-9 THC is the compound in marijuana that’s chiefly responsible for triggering the rush of euphoria, a sense of calm, and sleepy, intoxicating effects known as a “high.” While marijuana is known to contain high volumes of delta-9 THC, hemp contains very little. However, hemp contains cannabinoids that can be converted into delta-8, making it highly accessible (more on this later).

Why People Love Delta-8

Before we get into the reasons people purchase delta-8 THC, it’s important to understand that the FDA has not evaluated these uses. There is currently not enough conclusive evidence to claim delta-8 as a therapeutic substance.

That being said, delta-8 has been shown to bind to the CB1 receptors in the ECS, which has an overall effect on homeostasis, as explained by the National Cancer Institute.

Delta-8 may additionally offer some neuroprotective properties, which could be beneficial for the brain. Some studies such as this one have indicated that delta-8 helps encourage the production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which plays a major role in neuroplasticity, memory, and cognition.

On top of that, delta-8 may also have a stimulating effect on appetite. For instance, in one 2004 study on delta-8’s influence on appetite, the researchers concluded at the end of the trial that delta-8 could increase food intake, even when taken at low doses.

And thanks to its antiemetic effects, delta-8 presents little to no nausea as a side effect, as demonstrated in this 1995 study.

Delta-8 vs CBD

In order to better understand what delta-8 is, it helps to know what it isn’t. So let’s talk about the differences between delta-8 and CBD, starting with the ways in which they interact with the endocannabinoid system (ECS).

The ECS is a series of receptors, cells, and enzymes that are found throughout the body, and they work together to keep the body in homeostasis through functions such as inflammation, stress, sleep, appetite, immunity, and much more.

Delta 8 THC has a direct interaction with the CB1 and CB2 receptors, which regulate everything from immune function to mood. CBD, meanwhile, only appears to have an affinity with CB2 receptors and not CB1 receptors.

Consequently, delta-8 can get users high, while CBD doesn’t. Instead, CBD regulates ECS activity by amplifying the signaling while delaying the breakdown of natural cannabinoids in the body.

There are also some major distinctions between CBD and delta-8 when it comes to drug tests.

It’s important to note that while delta-8 does have the potential to give users a false positive, you shouldn’t have to worry about it with CBD, granted that the product you’re consuming contains no more than 0.3% THC. In fact, according to health experts, a user would need to take around 2,000 mg of full-spectrum hemp daily in order to get a false-positive result for THC on a drug test, which is 40 times the standard dose of CBD for most individuals.

Delta-8 vs Delta-9

When examining the commonalities between delta-8 and delta-9, you’ll already get some information from their names: delta-9 THC is, in essence, the cannabinoid we know from marijuana, and it’s chiefly responsible for creating the high that marijuana is known for. Delta-8, meanwhile, can create effects that are similar to those of delta-9, but to a lesser extent.

At this time, the legal status for delta-8 is nebulous, and this has much to do with the fact that it can be taken from either cannabis or industrial hemp. And as per the 2018 farm bill, products of hemp can be legally produced and used for extractions all over the United States, so long as they’re hemp-derived and contain less than 0.3% delta-9 THC. Because of this loophole, delta-8 is now legal in some states where delta-9 might not be.

Residents of THC-banned states who crave cannabis products now have the option to seek delta-8 products since they may be legal in their state, and several hemp-based extractors are ramping up delta-8 production to meet this new demand and shipping it all over the U.S.

And similar to delta-9, delta-8 binds to the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is what causes users to feel high. And on a chemical level, delta-8 and delta-9 resemble each other in that both structures possess a double bond, which is widely thought to produce the intoxicating effects that are known for making users feel high.

However, the placement of the double bond is what really distinguishes the two cannabinoids from each other: while both cannabinoids possess this chain of carbon atoms, delta-8 has the double bond on the eighth carbon, while delta-9 has it on the ninth carbon.

The way in which delta-8 attaches to the endocannabinoid system is somewhat different because of the location of its double bond, and this is what some experts believe is what makes delta-8 significantly less potent compared to regular THC. With that being said, more research on delta-8 and how it interacts with the body is needed.

Does Delta-8 Get You High?

As we understand, there are still some individuals who are still unsure whether or not Delta 8 gets you high.

And we’re here to clarify that delta-8 THC does, in fact, get you high. It’s worth noting, however, that the high is notably milder than that of delta-9, and it’s garnered a reputation for leaving folks on the drowsy side rather than euphoric and borderline-manic like so many cannabis products are wont to do.

And because delta-8 undergoes the same metabolic change as delta-9 THC under heat exposure, they are, for all intents and purposes, the same, with the exception that delta-8 THC doesn’t get you as high.

How Does Delta-8 Make Me Feel?

While delta-8 is known to produce a rush of euphoria and a mild sense of intoxication, better known as a “high,” it’s not necessarily going to be the sort of high you might expect from delta-9. Typically, though, most consumers report that delta-8 carts left them feeling relaxed and at ease, sometimes accompanied by feelings of mild drowsiness.

When taken in a form that is non-smokable, such as in unprocessed cannabis, delta-8 is typically found bonded to a sugar molecule, making it a glucoside. In cases such as these, the sugar molecule must be removed from the delta-8 in order to make it usable.

This can be done in a number of ways, the first one being a process known as decarboxylation.

Decarboxylation is essentially what happens when someone smokes cannabis flower–when extreme heat is applied to the plant matter, a chemical reaction is triggered, which removes the carboxylic acid (COOH) group from each cannabinoid, converting delta-8 into delta-9.

Usually, though, the delta-8 used in products is converted in a lab, where combustion is left out of the process. But if you’re looking for a method of delta-8 that’s inhalable and fast-acting, delta-8 vape carts provide just that, without the burnt plant matter.

What Are Delta-8 Carts?

Delta-8 vape cartridges, often referred to as delta-8 carts, are among the most sophisticated ways to inhale delta-8, or any cannabinoid, for that matter. With new developments in technology every day, even our methods of relaxation and intoxication have gotten easier.

Gone are the days of coughing over smoke and struggling with the lighter to smoke cannabis. Instead, try the high that’s streamlined and discrete, perfect for any time of day, anywhere you go. Our delta-8 cartridges attach easily to any standard 510 thread battery and come in a trio of out-of-this-world flavors: Bubble Gum Galaxy, Space Walker, and Solar Flare Lemonade.

So why try delta-8 vapes?

For starters, delta-8 vapes do away with the need for combustion. While marijuana is often smoked in order to make it bioavailable, delta-8 actually has an incredibly low boiling point. This means that when high-heat methods such as smoking are applied to delta-8, most of it is destroyed in the process.

Vaping delta-8 carts, on the other hand, apply a steady, controlled temperature–just enough to turn the delta-8 vape juice into a vapor. This completely eliminates the need for combustion, so consumers can enjoy fast-acting effects without inhaling burnt plant matter.

Additionally, the process of vaping delta-8 simplifies the delivery process, which speeds up the experience overall, including the high and the entourage effect.

Delta-8 vape carts are also popular because of the mild effects they tend to produce, especially compared to marijuana. While delta-8 creates a euphoric effect, it’s far less overwhelming and easier to manage.

And while it’s true that gummies take the cake when it comes to flavor, some users might be surprised by the tasty strains they can enjoy with delta-8 carts. And best of all, no calories!

Of course, delta-8 vape carts are also beloved for their convenience since they’re always ready to go. And while it’s true that you’ll need to make sure your battery is charged, no other preparation is necessary!

Delta-8 vape carts are also becoming popular because, well, they just hit right.

More and more individuals are giving up smoking, whether it’s for personal or health reasons, but the experience is hard to replace. Delta-8 vapes offer a milder, gentler high, but they also help satisfy that urge to smoke something, minus the smoke.

And while disposables offer plenty of their own advantages, delta-8 carts offer just as much freedom of choice with the strain or flavor you choose, and you’ll never have to worry about committing to a flavor.

For instance, you might be enjoying some Bubble Gum Galaxy for one month, but maybe you want to be a little spontaneous and shake things up with some Space Walker.

With delta-8 cartridges, the true beauty is that there’s no need to wait for a great flavor experience! And while you’d need to go through a whole disposable in order to try something new, all you need to do with carts is swap them out on your battery! To do so, simply unscrew the current cart, store it, and replace it with the new one.

Now, let’s be honest: the price is always going to matter, even when you’re choosing the best delta-8 product for your needs. And if you’re looking for something that’s both fast-effecting and affordable, delta-8 carts make the perfect option.

How Do Delta-8 Carts Work?

Even if you’re a beginner, delta-8 is easy to vape. To do so, you only need two things: your battery or rig and your cartridge.

Once your setup is ready, you can get started whenever you like. Vaping a delta-8 cartridge is much cleaner than smoking cannabis, and no lighters are needed. Once your battery is fully charged, simply press the button five times, and watch it flash, indicating it’s on. Hold down the button while you inhale from the mouthpiece, and press five times again to power off.

Delta-8 Cartridges vs Delta-8 Disposables

While we talk about delta-8 cartridges, it’s worth it to stop to mention delta-8 disposables.

Delta-8 disposables are a single-use form of vape that comes pre-filled, pre-charged, and ready to use.

Delta-8 carts and delta-8 disposables offer a number of different benefits; for instance, delta-8 disposables are incredibly easy to use: simply put it in your mouth and inhale to draw. No need to switch out cartridges, no recharging.

Delta-8 disposables are also going to cost less than a refillable delta 8 cartridge, making them especially appealing to beginners. It’s worth noting, though, that delta-8 disposables might start to run up the cost, and it may save you more money in the long run to invest in a battery and carts.

Whether you choose delta 8 carts or delta 8 disposables will ultimately depend on your preference, and how you plan to enjoy your delta 8 vape.

For instance, beginners in delta 8 with a limited budget may want to stick with disposables since they’re going to offer the best entry-level price point, as well as the benefit of discretion and convenience. After all, no charging necessary!

On the other hand, if you’ve made your way around vapes a bit at this point, and you’re looking for something more appropriate for long-term use, a delta 8 vape cart is still going to offer the discretion and convenience, while also offering more control and freedom of choice.

Whichever type of delta 8 vape you decide to use, get ready for the high that hits both quickly and gently. Delta 8 vapes are the best way to get your delta-8 quickly and effectively.

Where Can I Get Delta-8 Vapes?

With the word of delta-8 spreading, customers will find that it’s easier than ever to find, especially online. It’s important to note, though, that the quality for online retailers is not always consistent. Wherever you shop, make sure to do so with a brand that meets all of the quality standards, especially when it comes to ingredients and materials.

If you’re looking for top-notch delta-8 vapes, check out our own delta-8 carts, which are 100% compliant with Farm Bill standards, and only made with high-quality hemp grown in the U.S.

What is the Best Delta-8 Cartridge?

Delta 8 carts are easily among the most popular products designed to deliver delta-8 into the body, and for a good reason: they’re simple, effective, and surprisingly convenient, and like delta-9 vapes, they can get users high and quickly, albeit with less fogginess and fewer side effects.

And with their growing demand, they’re becoming increasingly easy to find. But of course, users want to find the best cartridge that suits their needs.

Here are some pro tips to help consumers shop delta-8 carts with confidence:

  • Stick with reputable brands that hold solid reputations
  • Only shop from brands that practice third-party testing and offer lab reports for each batch
  • Check for clear labeling on products
  • Steer clear of pesticides, fillers, etc.
  • Note that different terpenes may provide slightly different effects
  • Keep an eye out for additional cannabinoids like CBD, CBC, CBG, etc.

Are Delta-8 Carts Legal?

Since the FDA’s non-binding guidance on e-cigarettes in 2020, some individuals have expressed concern about how these new laws will affect delta-8 cartridges.

Specifically, this guidance defines e-cigarettes as a law enforcement priority, largely due to the growing usage by minors. However, this guidance is widely interpreted to affect tobacco and nicotine e-cigarettes, and since delta-8 vapes are free of nicotine, sellers and manufacturers have inferred that they’re not directly affected by this law.

So at this time, delta-8 vapes are legal in most states, but laws around delta-8 can have some nuances with each state, so it’s always a good idea to double check your state’s laws before purchasing any.

Are Delta-8 Carts Safe?

If you’ve ever tried your hand with any kind of THC cartridge, you may already have an idea of what to expect when it comes to delta-8 carts.

But if your only experience in vaping cannabinoids is CBD, get ready for something a little different. That being said, keep in mind that while delta-8 is less intense than delta-9, it’s still an isomer of THC.

With delta-8 carts, it’s always encouraged to start slow, with just one puff at a time. Additionally, try to do so in an environment where you feel at ease and not in a space where you feel the pressure to work or be productive.

When starting out with your delta-8 carts, make sure to keep the puffs small and gradually increase as needed.

It’s also worth noting that delta eight vapes might make users cough, especially after a particularly big puff; this also applies to those who might have some experience with THC. No matter your tolerance, keeping the puffs on the smaller side is always recommended when starting out since no one truly knows how delta-8 affects them until they try it.

And when it comes to ingredients, steer clear of delta-8 carts made with vitamin E acetate.

Vitamin E acetate is sometimes added to vapes to dilute juices, and it’s typically used to make production cheaper while enhancing the liquid’s appearance. However, it’s been identified as a potentially dangerous ingredient in delta-8 vapes, because it can severely interfere with your lungs’ ability to exchange carbon dioxide with oxygen.

Aside from vitamin E acetate, some individuals may do better with vapes free of PG.

PG, also known as propylene glycol, is a common ingredient in several food and drugs including inhalants, powdered beverage mixes, and even toothpaste.

Generally speaking, PG is a safe substance, though a percentage of the population is allergic to it. Luckily, there are PG-free blends available, which only contain VG (vegetable glycerin).

Individuals must also make sure that their vapes are made with quality metals, such as titanium, stainless steel, and the alloy known as kanthal.

Conversely, avoid vape pens made with chromium, nickel, manganese, and tin.

As for side effects, the following are common with all delta-8 products:

  • drowsiness
  • anxiety
  • fatigue
  • dry mouth
  • paranoia
  • nausea
  • reduced appetite
